FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What's the big news?

Hodge Company's subsidiary companies Hodge Material Handling, TM Logistics and Walter Development have combined forces to exist as one, unified brand - Hodge. Moving forward all entities will operate under one company, and one name.

What do these changes mean for me?

For most of you, nothing will change immediately - other than how you identify us in our name and our look. After researching, we found that much of our audience didn't realize our full capabilities. We've always felt like we've offered the most complete package to tackling our customers' supply chain challenges, but we've always worked as separate entities to do so.

With the launch of our new brand strategy, we've become more integrated than ever, because that's what our customers need. The pressure on companies to execute the functions of the supply chain is higher than ever. We're ready to provide our expertise to help companies run a smarter, more efficient operation at every level – whatever their needs may be.

Why the change?

The change was due to variety of reasons. We're growing, we're expanding into new markets, and we're adding many new employees to our family. We've always been subsidiaries of the same parent company (Hodge Company), but we believe that we're stronger as one. With closely-related service offerings all relating to material handling and logistics, our subsidiaries work with the same customers across their supply chains - with each entity tackling a different function of the overall supply chain.

Now more than ever, it's increasingly more apparent that an integrated approach is necessary to deal with the complex demands of the supply chain. That's why we've made the move to rebrand our company and market ourselves as one company to further expand on the idea of offering our customers a more integrated approach.

What did the rebranding process consist of?

The development and unveiling of our new brand has been over a year in the making, and we're not done yet. In fact, we don't ever see our brand evolution being complete.

  1. Discovery
    • Understanding the current brand from the perspectives of our employees, customers and partners.
    • Examining the current market environment and trends in our industry.
  2. Brand Development
    • Drawing from our findings in the previous step, we developed our core foundational items and crafted our visual identity.
  3. Launch
    • First, we focused on educating our employees about our new brand and worked on converting as many touch points as possible.
    • Now we want to educate our external audience, YOU, of who we are and what the changes to our brand mean for you.
  4. Evolution
    • Our brand is not static, we will continue to add to and adapt our brand into the future. We're committed to building upon the strong foundation we've created over the last 58 years.

We've come a long way, and we're excited for what's next.

When will I see the new brand in action?

You will likely see pieces of our new brand immediately, take this site for example. However, it will be a long process to completely convert all of our brand touchpoints and we want to ensure we are still providing the best service possible while we're undergoing brand changes.

Will my contacts still be the same?

Yes, your contacts will remain the same but they will now be backed by an even more extensive amount of industry experts to share their knowledge. The result: smarter decisions to keep you moving in the right direction. All of your contacts' information (email, phone number, etc.) will also remain the same.

Are you changing the products and services you provide?

Yes, in a way. By joining forces, the new Hodge will be able to provide services that you may have not been aware of depending on your relationship with the company. The services previously offered by Hodge Material Handling, TM Logistics and Walter Development will not go away. If you're an existing customer, you'll now be aware of a larger breadth of services that your operation can benefit from. Stay tuned as we begin to develop our new website to cover our full-range of products and service capabilities. In the meantime, check out www.hodgemh.com or www.go-tmlogistics.com to learn about how we could partner to improve your operation today.

Was the company purchased?

Hodge Material Handling, TM Logistics and Walter Development have always been sister, subsidiary companies under the parent corporation - Hodge Company. The companies have simply banded together to become one. The company is still family-owned and operated by the Hodge Family.
